Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Your team's knowledge is the whole product, so we treat it like it's sacred. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.
1. What we collect
We collect the account details you give us (name, email, workspace info), the content you put into TeamBrain (files, documents, tasks, and the decisions around them), and basic technical data needed to run and secure the service (log data, device and browser info). Payment details are handled by our payment processor — we don't store your full card number.
2. How we use it
We use your data to provide and improve the service, keep it secure, process payments, and support you when you reach out. We do not sell your data, and we do not train any AI model on your content.
3. Your content and your AI
Your content is private to your team, with access controls so people only see what they should. When you connect your own AI (such as Claude or ChatGPT), your content is sent to that provider only when you or your team direct it to be — for example, when your AI reads or writes to your shared brain. That provider's handling of it is governed by their own privacy terms.
4. Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit. Deleted items sit in trash for 30 days before permanent removal, so an accidental deletion doesn't cost you real work. We restrict internal access to your content to what's needed to operate and support the service.
5. Data you can take with you
Everything you create lives as plain Markdown, so you can export all of it at any time, including the day you leave. You're never locked into a proprietary format.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and the service working, and limited analytics to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. We keep third-party tracking to a minimum.
7. Third-party services
We rely on a small set of providers to run TeamBrain — hosting, payments, customer support, and email. They process data only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Reach out and we'll help you exercise them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and the law evolve. If we make material changes, we'll let you know.
